Biography
Dr Dev Kumar (Roshan) Boojihawon is Associate Professor of Strategy and International Business at Birmingham Business School and a Visiting Research Fellow at The Open University Business School. He holds a PhD from the University of Strathclyde and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. An award-winning educator, he specialises in strategic management, international management and the pedagogy of applying management theory to live practice. His teaching philosophy draws on Paulo Freire’s conception of education as the practice of freedom, and he approaches the classroom as a facilitator of exploration, critical reflection and professional self-discovery.
